New this year to CelebrateErie is the Artists Colony, hosted by the National City in their Community Room on 8th and State. Local artists will display their work Friday through Sunday in a gallery setting. Although no art will be available for purchase at the event, contact information will be available for each artist if someone wants to purchase art at a later date. Music will be provided by The Steve Trohoske Duo, appearing Friday, August 15 5-7pm and Saturday, August 16 1-3pm.
This effort is yet another way for the community to celebrate all that is Erie, by showcasing local artistic talent in a family friendly, unique space. This Artist’s Colony will feature artists such as Pam Forsyth, Ehren Knapp, Evan Everhart, Susan Moore, Tami Hritzay, Pat Patterson, Susan Hunter, Brian D. Payen, and more!
